This is indeed a lovely manipulation. Beautiful colour tones in the water, on the water and the tiger make this a very harmonious piece to look at.
It's quite unusual to see a big cat like this in the water and that is what makes this original. The fact that there is no land in sight makes it quite surreal.
I can feel the tigers tension and attention for the hunt, but I think that the fish are not quite in sync with this action, although I ask myself who or what killed one of them?!
The sky doesn't quite fit. The lighting in the sky is to the right and the tiger is lit from the left. The sky is also a bit out of perspective which makes the horizon a little odd.
But having said all this, I have to say that I love it. My eyes are immediately drawn to the tigers face and the subtleness of the water splashes makes it all well balanced.
I like how detailed this picture is. From the wet fur to the shadows and manipulation of the water; it is all perfect. The look of the tiger's face is remarkable, and I'd be quite suprised if you didn't need a reference or two for this kind of perfection. It looks surreal, and realistic at the same time; an indescribable kind of balance. It truly is beautiful. Having the "camera" half above and below the water gives it a kind of beauty that you can't get by just seeing either side by itself, and it gives the picture both warm and cool colors that keep everything interesting. I love it!

Very well done!!!
