This image was created for a contest in worth1000. The main objective of the contest was to take this simple drawing and recreate it photomanipulation stile. (or better yet, turn to life) [link]

It's like a scene out of a movie...it's incredulous. It's breathtaking, serene, it's purely natural and untouched :)

I do notice places with obvious parts of grafting where you were working on the photo-manipulation the most, but otherwise it looks like something suited for a poster!

First off, it wasn't such a good idea to cut off the river and landscape with the sky shot. Maybe you had no other choice, but it makes the scene unrealistic and also abnormal.

Second, I love the soft, gentle shade of the light. The sun rays along with the creamy clouds make the viewers feel at peace and I personally felt like there was honey melting into my heart haha. I felt very, very calm and happy when I looked at this. Though, the light is a bit too bold, compared to the dark outer skirts of the sky that is a deep blue-ish grey.

Creative of you to add flocks of birds into this photo. Though maybe it would've been nice if they hadn't been here, they added essential details to this artwork by making it seem more comfortable and secure.

All in all, nice job! I think you need to work on not making the grafted parts seem TOO obvious, and this would make a splendid wallpaper/poster/desktop screen haha! :) Keep up the great work! It's really enchanting ^^ Have a nice day!

Amazing artwork. It does combine the right colors nuance getting to pass to the viewer a soft sensation. The clouds on the very background are a little "strong" making it a little bit less realistic than it would be if that amount of clouds were with their "alpha" a little bit less. The "sun" supposed to be on the back of the clouds would become more visible (at least the silluette of it) making that spread lightinings looks like also more real. The colors combination is just awesome, very well chosen and worked. Overall the artwork is very clean and realistc anyway. For sure I only can say about it a simple phrase: Well done!

Beautifull! Yet somehow its the "Aproaching storm..." that is more "saying" [can't find proper word in english], makes stronger impression on me. Don't ask me why. Maybe it's because of "I-see-it-but-it's-not-quiet-here" feeling... Whatever... ^&^;
